Our Day Centre is a place where seniors can meet up and engage in activities that provide social interaction. Our team of professional carers aim to create a warm, welcoming and safe environment that caters to the psychological, physical and social needs of our clients.Recreational activities at our Day Centre includes arts and crafts, board games, quizzes, exercise classes, visiting entertainers and a TV room. We serve a nutritious breakfast, lunch and afternoon tea every day and special diets can be catered for.
Fereshteh (Ferry) Amir Kamvar is the Health & Well-being Coordinator at our Day Centre and she has years of experience working with senior citizens that have specific health needs or those who wish to live the most active lifestyle possible. Ferry can deliver group exercise classes and bespoke tailored personal exercise programmes, all of which can be delivered online or in person.
In recent times, Ferry has developed bespoke exercise programmes for individuals suffering from Parkinson’s disease or strokes and is continually upgrading and strengthening the type, style and content of the classes she delivers. Ferry is also a qualified Massage Therapist and her commitment to ongoing learning; her patience, understanding and kindness to all ensures that our senior citizens receive the very best care and attention.
Applications to attend our Day Centre are by referral only. Applicants must have a referral form completed by a health professional (GP, Public Health Nurse, Social Care Worker) on their behalf and then send it to us by email to info@trustus.ie. Our Day Centre is located at the Arena Retail Park, Whitestown Way, Tallaght, Dublin 24, D24 XY9A, on the first floor of the FOLD Ireland building just beside Lidl. We provide a specialist transport service to the Day Centre for clients that have been assessed as requiring it. Opening hours are 9.00am to 4.00pm from Monday to Thursday and 9.00am to 2.30pm on Friday.
